New Funcaptcha by Image API support

What is a "FunCAPTCHA by Image" challenge?

These are challenges that usually involve users aligning and clicking on specific images. FunCAPTCHA by Image enables users to solve these challenges by providing them with information on which image to select or how many clicks are required.

For your convenience, we implemented support for Funcaptcha by Image API. If your software works with it, and supports minimal configuration, you should be able to decode Funcaptchas by Images using Death By Captcha in no time.

  • Funcaptcha by Image API: When given a FunCAPTCHA challenge image and the type of question, the API returns the precise number (starting from 0) corresponding to the image that solves the FunCAPTCHA challenge.

Pricing

For the time being, price is $2.89/1K Funcaptcha by Images correctly solved. You will not be billed for Funcaptcha by Image reported as incorrectly solved. Note that this pricing applies to new Funcaptcha by Image challenges only, so only customers using this specific API will be charged said rate.

Funcaptcha by Image API FAQ:

What`s the Funcaptcha by Image API URL?

To use the Funcaptcha by Image API you will have to send a HTTP POST Request to http://api.dbcapi.me/api/captcha

What are the POST parameters for the Funcaptcha by Image API?

  • username: Your DBC account username
  • password: Your DBC account password
  • type=22: Type 22 specifies this is a Funcaptcha by Image API
  • funcaptchaimage_params=json(payload): the data to access the funcaptcha by image challenge
  • json payload structure:
    • image: an encoded base64 string representing the image. Please note that the the size should be lower than 120 KB.
    • question: this parameter value is extracted from either the "game_variant" or "instruction_string" field within the response of the "/gfct" API. For example: "rotated", "3d_rollball_objects", "coordinatesmatch".
    • module (optional): the name of the module to which the question belongs.
    • sitekey (optional): the funcaptcha site key of the website with the funcaptcha.

      Example:

      • 029EF0D3-41DE-03E1-6971-466539B47725

You need to locate public key of FunCaptcha. There are two ways to find it: you can locate funcaptcha`s div element and check the value of data-pkey parameter or you can find the input element with name fc-token and then extract the key indicated after pk from the value of this element.

    • pageurl (optional): the url of the page with the Funcaptcha challenges. This url has to include the path in which the Funcaptcha is loaded. Example: if the Funcaptcha you want to solve is in http://test.com/path1, pageurl has to be http://test.com/path1 and not http://test.com.

What`s the response from the Funcaptcha by Image API?

The Funcaptcha API response has the following structure. It will be a number like the following indicating the location of the solution starting from (0):

4

The example response means that the solution is the fourth image starting from zero (0) among the images in the image challenge sent.
